CDL Passenger Endorsement Training in CT

As public transportation expands, so does the need for qualified drivers! Be ready with your CDL Passenger Endorsement! Casinos, schools, retirement homes - all have continuous requirements for bus drivers. Allstate is the only CDL Training School that offers Bus training.  Our CDL Passenger Endorsement training is available 7 days a week. We offer 1 on 1 training, where you get the individual attention to make sure you succeed.  You train on the same bus, at the same site where the DMV inspector will test you. 

CDL Passenger Endorsement is required in CT for student transportation vehicles used in connection with school sponsored events. Being a graduate from a bus driver training school helps you compete with other bus drivers seeking employment.  Passenger CDL testing can be done at our facility, using the same bus you trained on, at the same site you trained at. Coach bus training and coach bus testing can be completed in weeks.

 

Upon successful completion each student will be allowed to operate any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing a vehicle not in excess of 10,000 pounds GVWR. In addition each student will be allowed to operate a student transportation vehicle used in connection with school-sponsored events and activities, but not used to transport students to and from school. Each student will be allowed to operate a taxi, livery vehicle, service bus, shuttle bus, casino bus, motor bus, or motor coach.

 

Length of Training          Topics Covered

Because training is 1-on-1 each students schedule and availability will effect the  duration of the training.


The full CDL Passenger Endorsement training can be completed in as little as 6 weeks. Participants will have the option to take a Free Evaluation if there is some relevant driving experience that will open the option for a shorter “refresher” program.
